Lieutenant Colonel Casey Pellizzari is an Associate Professor and Senior Military Faculty in the Department of Physics and Meteorology at the United States Air Force Academy. Lt Col Pellizzari received a BSEE from California State University, Fullerton in 2005, a MSEE in Electro-Optics at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in 2010, a PhD in electrical engineering from Purdue University in 2017, and a Masters of Military Operational Art and Science from the Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College in 2018. His research interests include computational sensing, imaging through turbulence and directed energy. Lt Col Pellizzari has previously served with the Air Force Research Laboratory, Headquarters US Central Command, and the Air Force Electronic Systems Center.
